Although relatively new it is long, tough and full of hazards. Greens even in winter are superb. The clubhouse is not open yet but is due to open in early 2010 and looks superb. The one downside is all the 'areas of special conservation' around the course. If you drive a ball in you cannot go in to retrieve it but must drop a ball in one of the nemerous drop zones withyout penalty, in competition this seems a little unfair - a bad shot deserves to be penalised. Other than that it is a great and enjoyable track. It is surrounded by Lough Muckno which comes into play on a large number of holes. Although hilly you seem to cross the hills instead of climbing them. Last 3 holes are real card breakers.
