Rathdowney Golf Club was founded in 1930 and extended to an 18-hole course in 1997, when the legendary Eddie Hackett having a hand in the extension. The new and the old have married very successfully that it is hard to distinguish between the original and the new.
Today the course is of a matured state with challenging holes and fairways. Ongoing investment and development of the course adds new challenges each year and the club is a unique location to play an enjoyable round of golf.
