The Club moved to its present site from Donabate in 1971 and over the years has undergone major re-developments, culminating in the replacement of all its greens by fully sand based ones, facilitating play 365 days a year.

For my Golf Course Review we played the Forrest Little Golf Club in late September the course was in poor condition due to sanding of fairways and tining of greens. Hosting an open event while these conditions applied was a bit sharp.

That apart, it is a pleasant and convenient course and would be worth trying when in better shape. It is not overly long and has some interesting holes.
